Over the Mountain

I'm glad I have all of that out of the way. The house is the same as always, no noticeable attempts to break in or anything. Mother is the same as well. I kept my visit with her as brief as possible.
While visiting father's grave I ran into him. I guess that was to be expected. That false priest hasn't changed a bit since I last saw him.
The only good thing about being here was that I was able to grab some things from home. My cabin finally feels...a lot more personal. Still, I want to leave as soon as possible.

...Yuuko-san's gone now though...

So it's Bellcius next huh? It's been a while since I've been home, yet at the same time I didn't expect to go back so soon.


I suppose I should make the most of it, check on the house, pay respects to father...

-re we go. Ah, it looks brand new again. Those guys did a nice job. And a quick one too. I guess leaving that extra bit of money motivated them well enough.

[sound of footsteps and a bag rustling as if it's been picked up and set on a desk. What follows are sounds of glass objects softly clanking as they're being placed on the same desk.]

There! This already feels more like home. I'll have to be careful during the Long Night though. Last year didn't go too well.

Well now that we're in town, I'm going to do a bit of shopping. I lost a lot of my equipment in the crash. All my beakers and herbs...oh and my set of syringes! I'll have to get a new one...The difference engine needs repairs too...

If anyone needs anything in town for magic or chemistry tell me now before I leave my engine somewhere.
